Authorities say a missing Nebraska teenager has been found safe in Arkansas.
The Brown County sheriff’s office issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday night for Melody Rose Martin, also known as Melody Gibbs, of Ainsworth. The alert was canceled Thursday.
Sheriff Steve Hapner says the girl was found safe in Arkansas. He referred further comment to the FBI.
FBI spokesman Sandy Breault says no further information was immediately available.
The girl was last seen in Nebraska at her house on the south end of Ainsworth. Authorities had said she may be with 30-year-old Robert Olney, traveling in a red four-door car with New York license plates.
Authorities had said the pair was believed to be headed to New York or Alabama.
