Dear Mahatma: Markham Street was recently repaved between Mississippi and University, and there are signs proudly telling us about it. The new pavement is nicely done. Except for the manholes, where in front of the Plaza Towers building you will spill your coffee. Is there not a standard or smoothness rule for manhole locations? — Taxed Yet Tossed About
